The WACe was a warm air control panel. It had a computer part number of EURO/AMB and was the forerunner of the current AmbiTec AT1.
Housed in an off white plastic enclosure with a clear perspex cover and app. 6½" x 6", it had a black Smiths 7 day electronic clock with buttons to initiate timing periods positioned central beneath the cover. Positioned directly below were 3 knobs - a green knob for mode selection, a red knob for day temperature selection and a blue knob for night temperature selection.
The units were purchased from Powermatic and was based on their 'Eurotrol' controller.
Obsolete. The WACe ceased supply in 1996 when it was replaced by the ATII. Itself being replaced by the AmbiTec AT1 in 1998 and again replaced in 2005 with the new SmartCom range.
