Nor-Ray-Vac Inverter "Nosie"


There can be instances where the noise from the Nor-Ray-Vac fan can be reduced by a simple setting on the inverter.
Nor-Ray-Vac have used two inverters, an ATV11 and an ATV12. Please check with the number on the inverter before proceeding!


Please follow the instructions below for the Altivar ATV11.


Display ‘rdy’ – inverter waiting for signal (no start signal!)

Press ‘á’ (x2) ‘Fun’ – press ‘Ent’

 

Press ‘á’ (x6) ‘sft’ – press ‘Ent’

 

Press ‘â’ ‘act’ – press ‘Ent’

 

Press ‘á’ or ’â’ ‘hf’ - press ‘Ent’

 

Press ‘ESC’

 

Press ‘â’ ‘sfr’ - press ‘Ent’

 

Press ‘á’ or ‘â ‘16’ - press ‘Ent’

 

Press ‘ESC’ (x4)

 


Please follow the instructions below for the Altivar ATV12.

Display ‘rdy’ - inverter waiting for signal (no start signal)

Press mode x 3 display shows ‘conf’

Press jog wheel for ‘enter’ Turn jog wheel clockwise for ‘full’

Press jog wheel for ‘enter’, ‘cfg’ displayed

Turn jog wheel clockwise for ‘drc’

Press jog wheel for ‘enter’

Turn jog wheel anticlockwise for ’sfr’

Press jog wheel for ‘enter’

Turn jog wheel clockwise to change value. Note: increase in stages. (default 4.0)

Press jog wheel to ‘enter’

Press ‘esc’ x 4
